This is What Happens When You Do NOT Have Enough Pots Part 2

Today I had to replant my Tiny Tim Tomatoes and Sweet Peppers. Of course I still have not recovered from my transplanted Beef Steak Tomatoes that I re-potted last week. I sat down and started making small transplant pots from the jobs section of the Dallas Newspaper. I finally found something I could use that section for! I then used the seedling pot to plant my Sweet Banna Peppers and jalapeno Peppers I picked up from Roach Feed and Seed a couple of weeks ago.

  1. I would like to try these newspaper pot as well - I'm getting tired of storing piles of plastic pots. Are they holding together alright for you?

  2. Yes, they work well. I think it took me about 1 hour to make 12 of them. I use 2 different sizes. I use a soup can if I only need them in a large pot for a few weeks to a month. If I need pots for starting seeds I use an old jelly mason jar and just wrap it around. I put no holes in it and only water when the peat starts drying out. If you need instructions I can post instructions on how to do it.
